It Takes a Team: DVR and Schools Working Together
Dr. Cinda Johnson
The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and schools are charged with many of the
same responsibilities for preparing students with disabilities for life after high
school. What can we learn from each other to enhance and strengthen our work
together? Cinda Johnson will share a few ideas, insights, and strategies to ponder
and inspire as we kick off the Summer Transition Institute!
Dr. Cinda Johnson worked in the field of transition for most of her career. She is the
principal investigator for the Center for Change in Transition Services, emeritus
professor at Seattle University, author, prolific reader, curious traveler, adventurous
cook, hiker, swimmer, and new bike owner.
